BIOGRAPHY

Born in Germany, she studied musically in Spain and Italy, where she specialiized in lyric, baroque and liederistic singing with the masters Peter Kooij, Carmen Bustamante, Mitsuko Shirai, Montserrat Figueras, Mark Tucker, Marta Almajano, Cristina Miatello and A. Goussev.

She was immediately invited to perform with various ancient music groups, including Capella Reial de Catalunya, Ensemble Elyma, Capella de Ministrers, Capilla Real de Madrid, Arion Consort, Brevis Consort, Orquestra Barroca Catalana, Orchestra Barocca Siciliana and others, under the guidance of directors of the caliber of Jordi Savall, Ottavio Dantone, Gabriel Garrido, Aldo Ceccato, Nigel North, Giulio Prandi, Hiro Kurosaki, Ottavio Dantone and Darius Stabinskas and others.

She sings in numerous international festivals and concert seasons, including Usedomer Musikfestival (D), Festival Grandezze e Meraviglie di Modena (I), Banchetto Musicale (LT), Festival de Musique Ancienne d’Ambronay (F), Festival de Musique Sacrée de Paris (F), Semana de Música Religiosa de Burgos (E), Fundación Juan March of Madrid (E), International Festival of Early Music of Martinengo (I), Concerts of the Marco Fodella Foundation of Milan (I), Settimana Barocca di Siracusa ( I), etc. performing in prestigious theaters and concert halls such as Kursaal in San Sebastián (E), Teatro Carlos III de S. Lorenzo del Escorial (E), Teatro Dal Verme in Milan (I), Le Grand Thèatre de Genève (CH), Palau de la Músic of València (E), Palau de la Música Catalana (E), etc.

Her repertoire ranges from the seventeenth century to early Romanticism. In the field of sacred music she has already performed Il Vespro della Beata Vergine di Monteverdi, the Oratorio S. Casimiro, Rè di Polonia by A. Scarlatti, sacred cantatas by Stradella, Gloria and Beatus Vir by Vivaldi, Haec est Regina Virginum by Haendel , several Masses and Kantatas and Magnificat by Bach and Telemann, Krönungsmesse and Requiem by Mozart, Nicolai Messe by Haydn, Magnificat and AS-Dur Messe by Schubert, Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini.

Operas: Monteverdi’s Orfeo (Messaggera), Celos aún del aire matan by Hidalgo (Pocris), Arie from II più bel nome, Giulio Cccini’s L ‘Euridice (Tragedia and Proseropina) and various roles by D. Terradellas.
She also sang Monteverdi’s madrigals, chamber cantatas by A. Scarlatti, E. Jacquet de la Guerre, Montéclair, Vivaldi and Haendel and Lieder by F. Mendelssohn, Schubert, R.C. Schumann and Brahms.

She has to his credit numerous recordings and radio interviews for Deutschlandradio Kultur, RNE (Radio Nacional de España), Radio France, WDR (Westdeutscher Rundfunk), RAI (Radiotelevisione Italiana), Catalunya Radio and television coverage for Antenne 2 and TV3.

The guitarist and composer Jaume Torrent with whom he recorded his songs for Voice and Guitar “Per a una sola Veu” with lyrics by Pau Riba.
Her first recording as a soloist Scarlatti: Kantaten for the Naxos label garnered a considerable number of positive reviews from the specialized press.
She is bilingual, she speaks and writes in six languages, which allows her to deal with the different repertoires with the utmost naturalness.
She often hold Masterclasses dedicated to Baroque Singing, among which the one of the Conservatorio Superior de Música “Joaquín Rodrigo” de València dedicated to the vocal music of Johann Sebastian Bach stands out.
Currently she works as a teacher of Community Foreign Language (German) at the Conservatory “G. Cantelli ”of Novara (I) and of Diction and Phonetics of the German and French Language applied to Singing at the“ C. Pollini ”of Padua (I).
